Company History
Our Identity
G-2 Gladiator Company is part of the Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets, one of the oldest and largest uniformed student organizations in the United States. The Gladiator name reflects the warrior spirit and brotherhood that defines our company — Gallant, Bold & Free in everything we do.
The Crest
Our company crest features a Gladiator warrior on horseback, encircled by the motto "Gallant, Bold & Free" and flanked by the words Navy and Marine — representing the military branches our cadets have gone on to serve. The shield shape is a symbol of protection, honor, and loyalty to one another.
Texas A&M Corps of Cadets
The Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M has been preparing leaders since 1876. As one of the few schools where ROTC participation was mandatory until the mid-1960s, A&M has produced more military officers than any school except the service academies. G-2 is proud to be part of that legacy.
Brotherhood
The bonds formed in G-2 last a lifetime. From fish year through senior year, the shared experiences — the early mornings, the traditions, the accountability — forge friendships that endure for decades. This site exists to honor that brotherhood and keep it alive.
